Our new and updated Website and Local History Stories
Welcome to our History Group. We are a team of enthusiastic volunteers established in 2002 to support and encourage research and public interest into the unique heritage and cultural identity of the area of Greater Liberton in Edinburgh. As well as collating and disseminating the history of the area, our group encourages the conservation of sites important to the cultural heritage of the area.
Due to Covid Restrictions we have been unable to meet regularly nor access our archives and library within our meeting room at Inch House, Inch Park, Edinburgh. We are hopeful that this will be remedied shortly in 2022.
As well as being able to share our information within our community and beyond, we are always looking to add to our collections and welcome any donations of pictures and stories relating to the people and places within Greater Liberton.
